Artist Renu Pahari (Bassi) has her life to the only passion she knew Kathak. Daughter of Pt. Manmohan Pahari, a name well-known in the golden era of radio, inevitably the artist has profound respect for music, art and culture. She has dedicated span of 30 years in the art of Kathak speaks for the artist's itself. She has given mesmerizing and breath-taking performances both on national and international platforms. She has silhouette command over pure dance and expressional passages with ease and been laurel from both press and public. The way she excelled in her performances, she has brilliantly balanced work, home and life. Presently Head of Department Dance, at DPS (R.K Puram), where she teaches all forms of folk, classical and contemporary dance. She has conceptualized interesting and inspirational ballets with social consciousness.
